The second Auto-x at Utica couldn't have been held on a better day, with sunny skies, and a temperature in the 70's. We tied the attendance record from the first autox with 34 drivers,
Fastest time of day went to Alan Skittlecorn's little CRX. Nice job, Alan. Lots of fun to watch those FWD cars going around corners on three wheels. The fastest Miata was Sal's Sebring, but bone stock miata fans will appreciate Rock's great times. Congratulations to Jim Legg for his first ribbon in A-class. The Barta minivan didn't get there in time to register for X-class, but it was last spotted in the fun run line.
A few of us got rides in Stephen's turbo miata. It was last dyno'ed at 180 HP and this writer thinks it sounds like Darth Vader. Deathly quiet except for the whoosh and sigh as the boost goes up and down. What a car.
